B1 TV — Rosistem Assets for inventory
Fixed-asset inventory in a national TV station using Rosistem Assets.
Context
Equipment in a TV station rarely stays in one place for more than a few hours: a camera is on set today, at an external interview tomorrow, in the control room for a live show the day after. Without a digital ledger, the question "where is camera X right now?" has no quick answer.
What we delivered
We designed B1 TV's inventory as a movement-driven tracking system, not an annual-report tool. Every technical item gets a barcode label, and portable terminals are used daily by technical operators for check-in/out. Annual accounting reports become a by-product — they fall out automatically from daily movements.
What changed
- "Where is equipment X?" gets answered in seconds, not days
- Annual inventory is no longer a separate project — it closes from the existing movement log
- Clear accountability for mobile equipment crossing departments
About the client
B1 TV is a generalist television station with national coverage in Romania, with a programme mix of news, talk-shows and political content. Operationally, a national TV station manages a large technical asset base: studio cameras, control-room gear, broadcast servers, set furniture and office equipment.
