WordArt

Add WordArt text-styling feature to the label

Select WordArt object Tool_Wordart from the toolbar.

 

Point the location in the label where you want the WordArt to be placed. Click the left mouse button and drag the cursor in the label until WordArt is created.

 

WordArt appears on the label.

 

Double-click the WordArt inserted in the label to modify the wordart properties, as shown in window below.

WordArt Properties includes following tabs:

General Settings

It includes following options:

Position

Set the Position where text to be placed in the label (with respect to X, Y co-ordinates).

Set the Height and Width value of text.

Text

Enter the text in Text field.

 

Font Settings:

PropertiesWordArtFontForm

Select Font – Select the Font of Text.

Style – Select the Style (Regular, Italic, Bold and Bold Italic) of Text.

Attributes – Select the Text Attributes (Strikeout or Underline).

 

Color Settings:

PropertiesWordArtColorForm

Fill Option

None – Select to not fill color in Text object.

Fill Color – Select the Color to fill Text region.

Fill Gradient – Select the Start and End Color to fill text Gradient region.

Angle – Select the filled Gradient Color Angle.

Fill Style – Select the Fill Style to fill Text region.

oPen Color – Select the Pen Color.

oBackground Color – Select the Background Color.

Set Transparency – Set the value of transparency as per your requirement to make the Text object transparent.

 

Other Settings:

oBorder Color - Select the Text border color

oBorder Width - Select the Text border width

oBorder Style - Select the Text border style

Rotation

oRotation (Degree) - Select the Text rotation angle.

 

Note

Preview – Software feature to preview created Text using WordArt in preview section.

 

Lock Object – Select to Lock the WordArt object while designing label (It gives you option to lock the movement of the WordArt object).

 

Do not print this object – Select to not print WordArt object while printing designed label.

Click “OK” button to apply the settings.
